@  BrookeRocks : (25 October 2014 - 02:50 PM) :thumbsu: I hope you'll find a nice place!
@  mommmy : (21 October 2014 - 04:31 PM) Woohoo three weeks from this coming weekend we will be able to move. Looking this weekend, at a couple of places.  I so hope time flies, lol.
@  Pierrette2 : (18 October 2014 - 06:06 AM) I'm late but thanks girls! LOL
@  gwenblake : (14 October 2014 - 09:48 PM) Happy Thanksgiving P2 I just love Thanksgiving and Xmas.  enjoy!
@  mommmy : (14 October 2014 - 03:09 AM) Oh I didn't know that, Happy Thanksgiving Pierrette.  I am so looking forward to Thanksgiving for so many reasons.
@  Pierrette2 : (13 October 2014 - 07:48 PM) Hi everyone! It's the Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada.  :grouphug:
@  mommmy : (13 October 2014 - 04:31 PM) I'm sorry that your daughter is going through so much.  My sister in law has something pretty similar and she is constantly on pain meds and has a cane to help her walk.  She is on disability because she just can't work anymore.  and yeah I just want to FF'd to November, lol.  I miss my cats so much, I know my sister is taking good care of them but I still miss them and I know they miss me.  And no, no one really to help us move but my son is 17 so he is a big help with us moving so it shouldn't be to bad.
@  Suzanne : (12 October 2014 - 10:30 PM) I am so happy for you.  The way things are now, I know it can be really scary.  When my daughter didn't get the house she wanted or a certain job, I told her the same thing.  You didn't get it because something better is waiting for her.  She did find a house in the country, and it had a lot of acreage, so cheap they could pay cash and get the things they wanted so they could remodel.  She loves remodeling.  She found a job where the pay and insurance is great, but......the job is really hard.  They have to pull 100 pounds of their parts.  She has degenerative disk disease, 2 bulging disks, her right hip won't stay in it's socket, and nerves going to her spine are so messed up, so far we haven't been able to find any specialist who says they can help her.  Her pain is unbearable.   She has lost 30 lbs. and now down to 90 lbs, her doctors have no idea why she lost all that weight so fast.  (Her health issues were before she got her job.)  If you are staying with other people, I know how great you'll feel when you get your own place again, and so will your kitties.  I bet you can hardly wait for Nov. and I hope you have lots of help moving, ugh, lol.  :) :thumbsu:
@  mommmy : (11 October 2014 - 10:40 PM) Hi Suzanne and yes it is getting a little better. That one job fell through but he has another job that starts the 20th it pays really good better then any other job he has had actually.  We should be moving by the second week in November so I am so happy.  I am really grateful for our friends but it will be nice to have our own place again and my cats too.
@  Pierrette2 : (08 October 2014 - 05:03 AM) Hi Suzanne. I don't come as often as before because I stopped to watch B&B. Now, I only watch Y&R.
@  Suzanne : (07 October 2014 - 11:07 AM) Hi everybody.  I'm sorry I was gone so long, I missed everybody.  I should always find time to come here.  I hope things are better for mommy now.
@  gwenblake : (28 September 2014 - 11:44 AM) Always in my prayers mommmy.  God Bless you and your family!
@  BrookeRocks : (27 September 2014 - 04:15 PM) I'm glad you have such good friends Mommy. You're still in prayers and I hope everything's gonna be fine for your family.  :air_kiss:
@  mommmy : (27 September 2014 - 03:29 PM) Well we are at a friends house so we can start saving money for move in costs.  My husband still hasn't started this one job he has it but training hasn't started, so I told him he has to work where I am so we can start saving more to move.  I had a scare though the friends we moved in with are allergic to cats so I was afraid I would lose them had them for 12 years but my sister took them in until we get a place of our own she was a godsend so grateful to her.
@  BrookeRocks : (25 September 2014 - 07:40 AM) Back home... a lot to do now, just stoping by to say hello, no time for the show but I'm sure I'm not missing anything interesting... Hope you're all fine. See ya
@  gwenblake : (23 September 2014 - 12:26 AM) Praying for you mommmy!
@  mommmy : (21 September 2014 - 02:23 AM) Thanks need all the positive thoughts we can get.  Our car is leaking water not sure where, I swear if its not one thing its something else.  But I guess I have to be thankful we still are able to have a roof over our heads and food to eat.
@  BrookeRocks : (20 September 2014 - 12:33 PM) Crossing my fingers for the job mommmy!!!  praying for you
@  Pierrette2 : (20 September 2014 - 06:32 AM) Hi Mommmy! I'm still sending positive thoughts and prayers for you and your family.  :)
@  mommmy : (19 September 2014 - 08:03 PM) Sounds like you are going to have lots of fun.  At the library trying to catch up on things.  We have been staying at a weekly place that a church helped us with but that is very expensive.  We are going to move into a friends place until middle of next month because we found a place that will take us even with an eviction.  My husband was waiting for this one job but they keep delaying the start date but he has an interview for another job a little lower pay but not to bad and it will start in about a week.  So things are starting to look up for us finally.

Now I realize Tracy Bregman is a mom in real-life but when she refuses to work the hours required to support a front-burner storyline, her character shouldn't be married to a front-burner storyline character like Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc).  And yet her fans bitch about her lack of airtime.  Okay people - she has a lack of airtime because she doesn't want to work the fricking hours because she wants to be part-time to be with her family!

What I'm pissed about is that her refusal to work the hours affects Christian LeBlanc who is a hard working and gifted actor and should be front burner all the time, but it seems the only thing they have for him without his "wife" is being Victor's mouthpiece and sparring with his demented but funny brother and his evil whore of a mother!  Therefore, the writers need to break this marriage up, let Tracy Bregman have her housewifey part-time job just being in the background and appearing time to time.  That way, CLB can move on and enjoy scenes with actors/actresses who are willing to put in the hours.

Well, gals, I think we're probably in the minority here because the Baldwin/Fenmore union is considered divorce-proof and sacred by most.  To me,
it's just a waste of CLB's talent.

Hi, Merlot!

I was wondering where you came by this information? I had always thought she was on recurring status by TPTB due to budget cuts, and not because she did not want to work full time. She has been on recurring status for many years now, and even with that she carried a big storyline when Sheila was running around, as herself and as the Phyllis look-a-like. Did she do an interview or something? Thanks!

ya I am sinshine from cbs

I am not loving lauren's looks lately.. she is looking mighty trashy..

but the problem is that TB does not want to work full time.. so it limits the story they give them.. I love mikey or I did.. now he is almost on existant and that has happened since they paired him with Lauren.. so for me I want them over.

Why do they have to break up for CLB to get a s/l or more airtime? There are a ton of ways they can explain Lauren not being attatched to Micheal's hip. Good grief, Dylan on Guiding Light is often referred to by other characters as if he is still in town, but he hasn't actually been seen by viewers for months!
I would like to see more of CLB also, I just don't think they have to break up the couple to do it.

I love Michael and Lauren as a couple!

They were so much fun when they were courting, and I remember especially when they were making out in the barn at the Newman Ranch, and hid under the hay, almost getting caught! They were sexy, cute, and fun as a couple!

I love the way they support each other so completely, like when she has a panic attack, the way he takes care of her! Even when they have big fights, they are still solid as a couple.

Too often in soaps, couples split up over small things, and move on to the next person the next week. No one seems to be able to maintain a healthy and lasting relationship. I love Michael and Lauren because they are THAT couple for me ... the one who stays together despite problems that occur in their marriage, or from without, like from Gloria.

Tracey Bregman was hired by Y&R in 2001, and offered to reprise her role of Lauren Fenmore as a recurring actress. Whether she dictated that choice or the show, I do not know. During these past few years, she has carried a large amount of storyline on various occasions. And, whether she is there all the time or not has nothing to do with how much time we see Michael.

I would be VERY disappointed to see them break up their marriage! Someone HAS to stay married on the show! They make a sexy, great and powerful couple, with a lot of life, love and fun left in them. Now, if we can just get the writers to get the show back on track, Christian Jules LeBlanc and Tracey Bregman will be able to come back strong with a rock-em, sock-em storyline!

What can I say? I love Michael and Lauren as a couple!

I think clb is being wasted right now.. and that is cuz he is hooked up with TEB. IMO anyways.. ever since they got married mikey has become a dull wimpy boy.. break him free.. I want him single.. he is much better when he has no one to answer too.

This couple just don't have any interesting s/l right now. Lauren's abscence can be easily explained away without them breaking up.  But seriously this couple does nothing for me.
