Board Guidelines
~ Board Guidelines ~
Soap Opera Lovers has a few, simple rules that we ask you to follow:
* Please respect your fellow members, and please try to be respectful at all times. Even if you disagree with a member's opinion, you can do so without being insulting.
* Please take time to welcome new members to SOL.
* Absolutely no poster bashing, and no harassing of other posters (whether in threads, PM's, or any other place within SOL message board) will be tolerated.
* No bashing another member's race or religion.
* No actor bashing is allowed. While it is OK to say that an actor is either a good or bad actor, or is not doing a good job portraying a character, it is not OK to excessively bash an actor in a downright mean or vulgar manner. Talking about an actor's hairstyle is OK, but negatively bashing their overall looks, racial makeup, plastic surgery, or other personal things is considered actor bashing. Remember: bashing the character the actor is portraying is fine; bashing the actor is not.
* Spamming and advertising will not be allowed at SOL.
* No pornography, especially child pornography.
* No copyrighted materials are allowed to be posted at SOL.
* Bumping (to keep a thread on top) will not be allowed.
* No advertising or product sales allowed at SOL. Check out the "Hype Your Site!" sub-forum in the "Posting Guidelines and Announcements" forum (members must follow the guidelines and instructions posted there).
* Always cite your sources when posting spoilers, rumors, news, recaps, etc., taken from another source, be it online or from a magazine. Please do not copy spoilers, etc., from threads at other message boards. They will be removed from the board if the sources are not properly cited.
* Please report any infractions directly to an Administrator with a PM, an Email, or simply use the REPORT button. Please do not do it in a thread or a post.

Please remember that any violation of these rules will be cause for immediate action by the Board Administration. And, also please check back here periodically, in case there are any changes or updates.* * *
