Hunter Tylo (Taylor, B&B) has come out on the wrong end of a lawsuit filed by her former psychotherapist whom Tylo had previously sued for causing the death of her son, Michael.
A Las Vegas Judge ordered the Bold and Beautiful Star to pay Shanna Downing, a licensed clinical social worker for the Horizon Family Therapy & Wellness Center, who was hired to counsel Tylo's children while she was going through a difficult divorce from her then husband, Michael Tylo a former Young and Restless and All My Children Soap star, a whopping $885,000!
Downing claimed that Tylo slapped the lawsuit on her when she refused to testify at Tylo's divorce proceedings!
Clark County District Court Judge Timothy C. Williams ruled in the September 21 order: "[Tylo] can produce no evidence that Downing was negligent in any respect in her care and treatment of any member of the Tylo family." The Judge also found that Tylo "attempted to suborn perjury from Downing". Tylo was ordered to pay $700,000 in non economic damages, $158,104 for Downing's attorney fees, and $26,879 in special damages.
Hunter Tylo had also claimed that Downing violated her professional ethics when she treated the Tylo family. The Judge found that Tylo could not produce any evidence to support her claims and as such had not breached any contract.
In other related legal woes, the hapless Star is being sued by her Lawyers, former Manager and Security Firm for monies owed to them. Marv Dauer (manager), The Centurion Group (security firm) and The Law Offices of Lon B. Isaacson claim they worked for Tylo and are still owed money in excess of $250,000.
